I was lucky enough to have another lovely visit out to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is always good to spend time with Danny and become better acquainted with his new home. We had a great time! My 3 1/2-day trip included:
- Movie night where we watched The Last of the Mohicans.
- Delicious home cooked meals almost every night: Lasagna, lemon chicken, and tacos
- Warm weather most of the time
- Because of this warm weather, some time was spent outside tossing a football and playing/watching (he played, I watched) an ultimate frisbee game
- Read a whole book. I did so while he studied, had class, or was reading his book next to me
- Had a fun, fancy date night and went to the Opera
- Played Mario Kart
- Went to breakfast with some of the med school friends
- Watched Seinfeld
- Went to the Harris Teeter grocery store daily
- Danny and his roommate redecorated their living room with some newly purchased furniture and I steamed a couch
- Played games on sporcle
- Had an unfortunate flight time change causing me to have to leave a few hours earlier than initially planned
- Was one of two passengers on my first flight home resulting in being upgraded to first class
- Arrived home just in time for the super bowl

ReplyDeleteso glad you were able to spend a little time with danny! i neeeeed update kirstyn! i miss having our weekly class, weekly dinners, and weekly boy updates. we should probably go to dinner soon and catch up.
