favorites of the [past 2] week[s]

- A night at classic skating complete with some foosball and pumpkin pie.  You know your week is off to a good start if it begins at classic skating.

- Getting ready for my trip by having an Italian night.  Dinner at Setabello's followed by some gelato.  Get in my belly Italian cuisine!

- Driving with the windows down.  Hellllllooooooo warm weather!  I am loving you.

- Trips to the temple.

- An amazing night being serenaded by Ingrid and Harper Blynn.

-  Being productive and spending lots and lots of time in the library to wrap up my final semester.  Just 2 more finals to go!

-  Some time spent with my gamma girls.  This was much needed, I have missed them so very much.

- Croquet at the park and nearly getting kicked out of Shivers.  The train just looks like too much fun to not sit in.

- Getting to spend some time with my lovely SUU ladies.  Set ups, mid day movies, catching some rays, late night chats... I love em.

- Crammed drive to ptown for a concert at Velor.

- Chick fil a and a chick flick.  Definitely the greatest way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Heres to finals week!
If you're done: congrats and I'm jealous
If you're not: best of luck!

blur

Did April even happen?
It just came and went before I even knew it!
What a crazy/busy past couple weeks it has been.
But it's been a good crazy/busy.  Not the frustrating kind that I usually feel.

I am trying to soak in my last few days as a college student.
I thought I would have major senioritis at this point, but it has actually been quite the opposite.
I find myself clinging onto school and the life of a college student.
Maybe because the thoughts of having to grow up and figure out oh, ya know, just the rest of my life are incredibly daunting.
But I have loved my college experience.
From my time and experiences down at SUU to my time and different experiences up here at the U.
I have learned so much and grown a lot.
The fact that I am about to close this chapter in my life and start a new one without really a plan is
a little bit a lot a bit terrifying.
But at the same time I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me!

And I can't think of a better way to start off the next chapter in my life than by spending it in Italy.  Speaking of... 12 DAYS!!!
We are approaching the single digits count down

Life is good :]

a night with Ingrid and Harper Blynn

Another amazing night with Ingrid.
She is the best.
I thought I would share with you some of her greatness... this is one of my favorites from her new album.

And the opening band? A-MAZ-ING! Here is Harper Blynn and their rendition of Halo

What a night!

6 pics

1.  It's baseball season.

2. This is my sweet Amelia who I tend just about every day.  Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter she did during bath time.

3.  Can't wait to make a mark in the passport.

4.  These were so outrageous I just had to try them on.

5.  Got my cap and gown.  Some days I am super excited about graduating and other days I am terrified. This day I was terrified.

6.  Dying easter eggs with some lovely ladies!

favorites of the week

- I finally downloaded some new music I had been dying to get for a while.  I was in desperate need for some new tunes.  Thank goodness for itunes gift cards!

- This week I sported the wear-the-same-outfit-two-days-in-a-row look... TWICE!  Maybe I should be more embarrassed than proud of this one.  This is why you wont find me blogging about fashion.

- Early morning temple trip.  Such a great way to start off the day.

- I played a little belated April Fools Day prank on my dad. Bless his gullible heart that he believed me.  He was out of town and I led him to believe there was some sort of accident and I could not promise that parts of the house wouldn't be destroyed when he returned.

- Decorated some Easter eggs and loaded up on Easter candy.  It's practically coming out of my ears I've had so much.  But it's just so delicious.

- The warm weather we have been having.  Minus the 10 second snow storm yesterday.  Gotta love Utah weather.

- When Niel scared the living daylights out of me by pointing to a clump of dirt on the ground in our laundry room and yelled "SPIDER!"  I have never jumped so high.  It didn't take long for that fear to turn into a laugh attack.

- Institute this week.  It was probably one of the best lessons I have had in institute to date.  Soooo good.

- A lovely walk down to the dog park with Zig.  He practiced being social and made some new friends.  Poor guy doesn't get out much.

- Being in bed before 11:30 almost every night this week.  Felt amazing to get some good zzz's.

- Getting my hands on a backpacking backpack for my trip.  I am almost all set to go!  Just a few more things I need to do to prepare.  31 DAYS!!!

Hope you all had a lovely week and happy easter tomorrow!

clumsy thumbsy

I <3 ellen.  So very much.  This is my favorite segment as of late.

Haven't we all had those experiences when auto correct fails us?!  I know I have.  Here are two of my embarrassing auto correct moments I am considering sending in to ellen.  Mind you they were both sent to the same person in like a 2 week span.

Oooooops!

don't complicate

I stole this little gem from one of my favorite blogs (check em out! I promise you wont regret it) and I just had to share it.

I love it. Wouldn't it be great if we all could do this? Guessing games are far too exhausting.

On another note, it was another amazing general conference. I always love conference, but it meant so much more to me this time around. Profound words were spoken and great counsel was given. I love our church leaders and am so grateful for their love and guidance.
